'PlacidChannel' began with a humble vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Paris. Established by the Johnson family in 1985, we opened as a tiny, family-operated eatery relying on family recipes passed through generations.
Emily Johnson, our progenitor, perfected her pizza skills during her voyages across Italy, notably learning from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples - the home of pizza. When she returned to the UK, her aim was to replicate that Italian pizza magic, staying true to classical techniques and selecting only the finest ingredients.
Our journey started with just a dozen seats in our pizzeria but we've since become a staple in the community without compromising on our dedication to quality and genuineness. We still adhere to the traditional wood-oven baking process, preparing our dough freshly each day, and seeking out the best ingredients available.
Now, 'PlacidChannel' is still in the hands of the same family, with a new generation of the Johnson lineage at the helm of our devoted crew. We've adopted some modern touches, but our core philosophy remains intact: delivering delectable, genuine pizza that unites people.
